Những tưởng iOS 9.3.4 sẽ là phiên bản iOS 9 cuối cùng của Apple. Tuy nhiên, 3 lỗ hổng nghiêm trọng đã khiến Apple phải gấp rút tung ra iOS 9.3.5.

Apple cũng đã đưa ra lí do cụ thể trong phiên bản cập nhật này. Một công ty chuyên về phần mềm gián điệp có tên gọi NSO Group (Israel) vừa mới bán ra một phần mềm có khả năng đọc tin nhắn văn bản, email, theo dõi cuộc gọi và các số trong danh bạ. Không những thế, nó còn có thể ghi lại âm thanh, thu thập mật khẩu và vị trí người dùng điện thoại.

Cực kỳ nhanh chóng, Apple gấp rút phát hành phiên bản iOS 9.3.5 nhằm vá những lổ hỗng mà phần mềm này có thể khai thác. Cũng xin lưu ý rằng, đối với những thiết bị đang được Jailbreak trên phiên bản iOS 9.2 - 9.3.3, nếu nâng cấp lên thì không thể Jailbreak được nữa.

Cách thức nâng cấp vẫn như mọi khi, người dùng có thể nâng cấp qua phương thức OTA bằng cách truy cập Setting > General > About Software.
